The women's fashion boutique Versona opens Thursday in Hamilton Place Mall.
Versona offers apparel, jewelry and accessories, including handbags, shoes and other fashion trend items of the season.
As part of Thursday's grand opening for the new store, the first 50 guests to Versona Thursday, Friday and Saturday will receive a special swag bag with a gift card.
"Versona promises to be a fun shopping experience where women can find unique, on-trend styles at a great value," said John Cato, chairman, president and CEO of The Cato Corp. "We are excited about our newest Versona store opening in Hamilton Place."
The typical Versona stores employ about 25 store associates. The store manager in Chattanooga is Trudy Brown. The store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 pm on Sunday.
The new Chattanooga store is one of nine Versona stores the company is opening this month in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Texas and Tennessee.
Versona is one of a half dozen new stores opening in a 6-week period in and around Chattanooga's Hamilton Place, according to mall owner CBL & Associates Properties.
Hardwick Clothes is opening its first retail store under its own brand in Hamilton Crossing on Saturday near where Duck's Donuts opened a shop on Jan. 11.
Next month, the food court inside of Hamilton Place Mall will add NoogaBop, a Korean food outlet which opens on March 14. The fashion store rue 21 opens in the mall on April 2, according to mall marketing manager Taylor Bostic.
Dave & Buster's and Dick's Sporting Goods also will soon open stores near Hamilton Place.
