Julie Van de Kamp, vice president of customer experience at U.S. Xpress Enterprises, was named a 2020 Top Woman to Watch in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association. Van de Kamp was nominated by her peers and chosen by the editorial staff of Women in Trucking's Redefining the Road magazine based upon her career dedication and accomplishments.

Van de Kamp has worked for U.S. Xpress for more than 12 years, having previously held roles within the company's brokerage, pricing, and business development divisions.

U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc., is the the nation's fifth largest asset-based truckload carrier by revenue.
Joe Sawyer named vice president or Barge Design Solutions
Barge Design Solutions' board of directors elected Joe Sawyer as one of the firm's newest vice presidents at their recent annual stockholder's meeting.
Sawyer is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture. He is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect in the states of Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio. He will continue as Barge's manager of landscape architecture.
Sawyer's more than 30 years of experience includes an extensive history of work in East Tennessee. Sawyer served as a landscape architect for the Cal Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, the Cauley Creek Recreational Complex and Master Plan in the City of John's Creek, and the Tennessee Riverwalk in Chattanooga. Sawyer is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the SportsTurf Managers Association, and the Catholic Charities of East Tennessee's Community Action Council.
Crye-Leike's Mary Carlson earns e-PRO designation
Mary Carlson, a Realtor for Crye-Leike Real Estate Services in East Brainerd, has earned the e-PRO Certification from the National Association of Realtors.
The e-PRO Certification offers the most up-to-date technology training for real estate professionals. The program is designed to increase a real estate professional's ability to reach customers, expand their digital marketing capabilities and build trust with clients by safeguarding their personal information.
"While quarantined at home due to the virus, I decided to take advantage of the time to earn continuing education credit," said Carlson. "It is important to me to stay on top of the cutting edge issues pertaining to my real estate business as I assist buyers and sellers in achieving their homeownership goals."
