Chattanooga Foot & Ankle adds Pacheco as foot surgeon
Maria Pacheco, a podiatry specialist who is certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, is now the primary physician at Chattanooga Foot & Ankle Clinic.
Dr. Pacheco is a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association, and an Associate of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. She is on staff at Parkridge Medical Center, Parkridge East, CHI Memorial and CHI Memorial Hixson.
Pacheco was raised in Miami, where she graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. Throughout her academic career in South Florida, she applied her bilingual skills in assisting the Spanish speaking community in the area, all of which enhanced her medical care and patient interaction. She served as chief resident in a highly demanding program involving advanced techniques on internal fixation, diabetic wound care, and reconstructive surgery for the foot and ankle. She has more than eight years of experience in hospital and private practice setting.
Campbell joins CHI Memorial Pediatric Diagnostic Associates
Matthew Campbell, MD, FAAP, has joined CHI Memorial Pediatric Diagnostic Associates.
Dr. Campbell earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. He completed his internship, residency, and chief resident year in pediatrics at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, also in Macon.
Dr. Campbell has been in private practice in Tullahoma, Tenn., since 2013, where he recently served as chief of medical staff for Tennova Harton. He is board-certified in pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and holds an American College of Sports Medicine CDC Concussion Certification.
Millener Named COO for The Enterprise Center
Geoff Millener now serves as The Enterprise Center's Chief Operating Officer.
Millener has been part of The Enterprise Center since 2017, most recently as the Senior Program and Operations officer, and he has been an integral part of our most impactful projects. He has been a driving force of HCS EdConnect, a program that has recently brought no-cost high-speed internet to 14,000 students' homes, he has been an integral part of the installation of more than 125 new WiFi access points in Hamilton County, he's helped expand The Enterprise Center's signature digital equity program Tech Goes Home, and he implemented the 4K Microscope program in Hamilton County Schools.
He also leads a local Digital Access and Equity Committee, and serves as the board chair for Thrive's Regional Broadband Alliance, which aims to expand digital access and equity in 16 counties across Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. Earlier this year, Millener was nationally recognized as the recipient of the Digital Equity Champion - Emerging Leader Award from the National Digital Inclusion Alliance.
Vascular Institute adds Warren as nurse practitioner
Chris Warren, FNP-C, has joined the Vascular Institute, working at the Chattanooga and Cleveland offices caring for patients.
She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Warren brings more than 10 years of nursing experience, as well the time she has spent working in the outpatient surgical setting at the VIC caring for patients.
"We are excited to have Chris bring her skills and talents where she will be caring for patients as one of our new clinical providers. " said Dr. Chris LeSar - founding physician of the Vascular Institute.
Warren joins the 13 member team of surgeons and nurse practitioners that are serving Chattanooga, Cleveland, North Georgia and Jasper.
Dean, Phillips complete ABA Stonier School
Volunteer Bank executives Jeremy Dean and Trish Phillips recently graduated from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Wharton Executive Leadership Program held at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dean, who has worked in banking for 23 years and joined Volunteer Bank in 2017, is executive vice president and director of retail banking responsible for 24 branches in 11 counties in Tennessee and Georgia. Phillips, who has worked at Volunteer Bank for 31 years, is executive vice president and process improvement executive at Volunteer Bank. The Stonier Graduate School of Banking and The Wharton Executive Education and Leadership Program is an intensive three-year programs for bank executives.
"Jeremy and Trish are both key executives at First Volunteer Bank and they have already begun to apply the skills and knowledge they have gained at Stonier to guide important initiatives within our organization," said Patti Steele, president of Volunteer Bank. Kasey joins CHI Memorial Women's Health Associates
Kasey Kohring, MSN, WHNP-BC, women's health nurse practitioner, has joined CHI Memorial Women's Health Associates.
Kohring earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and is a women's health care nurse practitioner board certified. She has 10 years of experience in providing high-quality healthcare to women with a variety of needs including routine well-women visits, cervical and breast cancer screening, sexually transmitted disease screening, and other gynecological concerns.
