Families around the region are invited to Hunter Museum of American Art, 10 Bluff View, on Sunday, Sept. 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. for Family Fun Day.

There will be hands-on activities and live performances, such as a teen zone with zine making, music by Slim Pickins, word painting, mask making, marionette making and a puppet theater, all inspired by the Hunter's current special exhibit, "Thrill After Thrill: Thirty Years of Wayne White."

Family Fun Day is free to ages 17 and under, free to members, and $15 per nonmember adult, which allows admission to all permanent and temporary exhibitions.

Family Fun Day is sponsored by the Mark Hite Team, with refreshments courtesy of Publix.
