Reflections Gallery will host its First Friday wine-and-cheese open house on Friday, Aug. 2, featuring work by wildlife photographer Steve Brandon.

Jewelry maker Carol Ott and ceramic artists Loren Howard and Jaime Peterson will also have work on display.

The reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery, 1635 Rossville Ave. The open house will include a demonstration by Howard of wheel-thrown pottery and an artist talk at 7 p.m. by Brandon.

Brandon has photographed wildlife on all seven continents and has spoken to over 125 nature groups, civic clubs and schools about wildlife and conservation. There is a permanent display of his work at Mississippi State University.

He will present a photographic program on "The Swamp Lions of the Okavango Delta of Botswana." Botswana is home to the only population of lions in the world that hunt in water.
