Like a lot of comics and other performers, T.J. Miller - perhaps best known for his work in "Deadpool 2" and "Silicon Valley" - has performances in cities that he wants to play again. The crowds are good. The vibe is good, and the experience is good enough, in general, to want to do it again.

He's never had such a good time that he wanted to return less that a month later. For his birthday, no less, and with his family.

Until now.

After playing The Comedy Catch earlier this month, Miller, who is from Colorado but lives in New York, will be back for one night only on Tuesday, June 4.

"I would put that comedy club against any other club anywhere. And the city was just really nice. So Southern. I loved Chattanooga," he said. When I explained it to my mother, I said, 'You would love it.'"

Miller said he got a lot of big-city experiences and relished the pace of a small Southern town, but also liked the natural beauty and amenities like good restaurants and bars when he was in town.

"It has the perfect small-town mentality. I love the rooftop bars and the craft beers."

It didn't hurt that the shows went well also.

"The show was explosive. A perfect room for comedy, and that [Choo Choo's Glenn Miller] garden and the train car and the whiskey bar feel like the perfect place to have a party. The whole pace is smooth as molasses."

He said that Tuesday's show is really a birthday gift to himself. He plans to bring wife Kate and his two children.

"If people come out and have a good time, that is a bonus," he said.

Miller's other movie credits include "Yogi Bear 3D," "She's Out of My League," "Transformers: Age of Extinction," "Office Christmas Party," "The Emoji Movie" and "Ready Player One."
