Though the Joey Winslett Band's style is primarily influenced by rock 'n' roll, the band is a group that's been hard to slap a genre on since they formed in 2013.
Joey Winslett (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica) is a musician from Soddy-Daisy, who has played in this area since the age of 15.
He's joined by Dunlap, Tenn., natives Richard King, bass; Micheal Bonner, lead guitar; and David Childs, electric guitar; and Aaron Raulston of Jasper, Tenn., on drums.
The Joey Winslett Band plays Puckett's, 2 W. Aquarium Way, on Friday, Sept. 29.
Nashville songstress Lucy Isabel plays Saturday, Sept. 30.
Both shows start at 9 p.m. with no cover charge for either.
