Remember CDs? Those shiny circles with music on them?

WUTC-FM 88.1 has about 15,000 of them, and they will be for sale Friday-Sunday, June 21-23.

All of the station's CDs will sell for $3 apiece. Many of these CDs are now out-of-print and difficult to find elsewhere.

"Our entire library has been digitized, so we still have all the great music our listeners have grown to love," says WUTC Station Manager Bryan Lane. "We would just like to personally share it with them and use their donations to bring even more growth to the radio station."

CDs run the gamut of genres from classic and modern rock to jazz, reggae, blues, world music - you name it. There's also a selection of specialty box sets.

The sale will be held in Cadek Hall, 725 Oak St., on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus.

Sale hours will be 3-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and 2-5 p.m. Sunday.

WUTC is a public service component of the university that provides National Public Radio programming and other content that appeals to the diverse interests of its listeners.
