The Unheard-of Ensemble, a quartet of four professionals who perform across the United States, will present a free concert on Thursday, March 7, at 7: 30 p.m. in Cadek Recital Hall, 725 Oak St. on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Ford Fourqurean (clarinet), Matheus Souza (violin), Issei Herr (cello) and Daniel Anastasio (piano) form the Unheard-of Ensemble.
According to UTC professor Jonathan McNair, many talented, highly trained young musicians around the country are turning to new, recent music by living composers for at least a portion of their concert selections. This music incorporates influences from a wide range of styles and appeals to audiences who want more than the traditional repertoire by the great classic composers.
