MidSouth Symphonic Band will present an outdoor concert in memory of Red Bank Vice Mayor Terry Pope, a MidSouth Band member who died in June.
The concert will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, in the park adjacent to Red Bank United Methodist Church, 3800 Dayton Blvd. If it rains, the concert will move inside the church.
The outdoor concert is free; however, because the late musician championed the creation of a food bank for Red Bank citizens, donations of nonperishable foods are requested to support that effort.
The concert's program will include "Tennessee Salute," "Absolutely Sousa," "A Patriotic Salute," "Captain America March" and "The Home Front: Musical Memories from World War II."
