Three-time Grammy Award winner Lucinda Williams is set to perform in Walker Theatre on Sunday night, Sept. 29, in the continuing celebration of the 20th anniversary of her influential 1998 album, "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road."

Williams will perform the album in its entirety, followed by a second set of songs from throughout her remarkable career.

"Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" is considered one of the cornerstones of what is now called Americana music. Following its release, the record was named Best Album of 1998 in the Village Voice's annual Pazz & Jop critics poll and received a four-star review in Rolling Stone, while garnering critical praise throughout the press.

The album went on to win a Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album. Rolling Stone ranked it No. 304 on its 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.

Now in the middle of the most prolific period of her career, Williams' introspective lyrics and honest vocals continue to connect with fans worldwide.
