The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce will welcome 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow as guest speaker for its 10th annual benefit dinner Saturday, June 25, in the McMinn County High School gymnasium, 2215 S. Congress Parkway in Athens, Tenn.
Tebow helped the Florida Gators win two BCS championships, was a first-round draft pick for the Denver Broncos and led them to the playoffs in 2011, has worked as a television analyst for the SEC Network and is co-hosting Season 2 of the Fox competition series "Home Free."
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the program starts at 7 p.m.
The $75 dinner tickets are sold out. Program-only tickets are $50.
