Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's are hosting free seminars this weekend to help customers be prepared for fall hunting season.
"Hunters and other outdoor enthusiasts attend the Fall Hunting Classic to learn how they can be more successful in the field while staying safe and comfortable with appropriate clothing and gear," says Jerry Martin, captain of the RedHead Pro Hunting team.
"They love to get a firsthand look at all the latest products and pick up valuable field tips and techniques. It's become a family tradition that gets passed along to the next generation."
During Fall Hunting Classic, professional hunters, outdoorsmen and women conduct seminars, answer questions and help hunters make the most of their fall hunting season.
The first 25 seminar attendees ages 18 or older on Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 18-19, will receive a free survival wristband and a free insulated tote.
In addition to free seminars and deals on hunting gear, customers can also enter a sweepstakes to win a race experience and UTV. One winner will receive the grand prize, valued at $18,000, which includes a trip for two to the Bank of America 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the chance to meet Daytona 500 Champion Austin Dillon and a two-passenger Textron Stampede UTV.

Kids Weekend is set for Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 25-26, at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's. This free, family-friendly event will include an archery workshop and challenge in addition to a free craft, giveaway and photo download.
The mission of Kids Weekend is to get youth involved in the outdoors so they become the stewards and conservationists of tomorrow.
