"Kick, kick, kick, look, ride!"

If you hear that this weekend, then you're probably watching barrel racing at the annual Chas B. Davis Memorial Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeo in Ringgold, Georgia.

The 24th annual rodeo takes place Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, at Davis Cattle Co., 1242 Ooltewah-Ringgold Road. It's one of only four professional rodeos in the state of Georgia.

Pro cowboys and cowgirls will compete for points toward qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas later this year.

In addition to impressive roping and riding, there will be lots of family entertainment.

Gates open at 6 p.m. each night, the rodeo starts at 8.

Tickets are $15 adults, $10 for kids 6-12 and children under 6 are free.
