Athletes from around the globe are in Chattanooga this weekend for the Sunbelt Bakery Ironman 70.3 presented by McKee Bakery.
The triathlon begins with a swim in the Tennessee River at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, May 19, followed by a 56-mile bike ride that loops through North Georgia before concluding with a run that makes two loops around downtown Chattanooga.
Spectators are encouraged to cheer on the athletes from along the Tennessee Riverwalk or Market Street Bridge during the swim and run.
