A former Rossville Bulldogs football standout from the 1960s returned to the site of his old school this week to make a difference.
Stanley Hood joined volunteer members of the Class of 1960 on Tuesday to put Bulldog-blue plush carpet in the Alumni Room at the Rossville Athletic Center. The renovated Alumni Room will be a meeting place for the Rossville Alumni Association, the Rossville Downtown Development Authority, Rossville Athletics and school reunions.
The City of Rossville Athletics Department is seeking memorabilia from the teams, players, high school bands or sporting events of the past.
