Returning the grandeur to the former Grandview Hotel is the aim of the sale of the 110-year-old structure on East Main Street.
The three-story, brick building at East Main and Slayton Street offers 8,673 square feet, according to commercial real estate broker Tad Bromfield of Sentinel Commercial Properties.
In addition to a hotel, the building has been used as a boarding house with a first-floor grocery, the broker said.
The building offers first-floor office space while the second and third levels have original wood flooring, a staircase, exposed brick and original wood framing.
The structure has surface parking and views of downtown and Lookout Mountain from the upper two floors.
The Grandview is located in the Southside of Chattanooga, which offers a variety of housing options, including apartments, condominiums and single-family homes.
In addition, the Southside offers parks, restaurants, grocers and small businesses.
