The greatest racial diversity in the Chattanooga region is in the two biggest counties — Hamilton in Tennessee and Whitfield in Georgia.

Southeast Tennessee Counties

  • Hamilton: 71.1 percent - 19.5 percent - 5.7 percent
  • Bradley: 85.8 percent - 5.1 percent -  6.3 percent
  • Franklin: 88.4 percent - 5.2 percent - 3.5 percent
  • Bledsoe: 88.7 percent - 7.0 percent - 2.3 percent
  • Rhea: 90.4 percent - 2.4 percent - 5.0 percent
  • McMinn: 91.2 percent - 3.9 percent - 4.1 percent
  • Marion: 91.7 percent - 4.0 percent - 1.8 percent
  • Sequatchie: 93.5 percent - 0.7 percent - 3.6 percent
  • Meigs: 94.3 percent - 1.5 percent - 2.0 percent
  • Polk: 95.0 percent - 0.7 percent - 2.1 percent
  • Grundy: 95.9 percent - 0.6 percent - 1.3 percent

Northwest Georgia Counties

  • Whitfield: 58.2 percent - 4.3 percent - 35.5 percent
  • Murray: 82.3 percent - 1.3 percent - 15.2 percent
  • Catoosa: 90.8 percent - 2.9 percent - 3.1 percent
  • Walker: 91.2 percent - 4.3 percent - 2.2 percent
  • Dade: 93.7 percent - 1.3 percent - 2.4 percent
