Members of the Performing Arts League are sponsoring their 20th annual vocal competition for juniors and seniors in high school on Sunday, Jan. 25, in the chapel of First Baptist Church at 401 Gateway Ave.
Contestants should come prepared to sing two solo selections from classical repertoire; one in English and one in a foreign language. Cash awards will be given: $1,000 for first, $500 second, $300 third and $100 for a Judges' Award.
