* What: About 250 guests attended the recent Band Aid Banquet at Abba's House in Hixson, where they were entertained by The Voices of Lee.

* Benefits: The dinner raised $50,000 for Volunteers in Medicine, which operates a clinic serving the health and wellness needs of the city's medically underserved.
