STATESBORO, Ga. - Senior Ty Patterson set a career high with 25 points to lead the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to a 75-63 win at Georgia Southern on Wednesday.
Freshman Josh Odem also set a career high with 22 points in UTC's first Southern Conference victory of the season.
Willie Powers led GSU with 25 points.
The Mocs (9-6, 1-1) have their first four-game winning streak of the season and reached that mark despite 27 turnovers.
UTC limited Georgia Southern (3-13, 0-3) to 34.3 percent shooting and maintained at least a 10-point lead through the second half after owning a 32-18 lead at halftime.
