North Georgia: Drug bust arrests four, seizes 'thousands of pills'

Agents with the Lookout Mountain Drug Task force have arrested four suspects today on drug diversion charges in Walker and Catoosa counties.

Task force Cmdr. Larry Black said searches at three locations in Catoosa County and two locations in Walker County netted thousands of pills, methamphetamine, marijuana, vehicles and property purchased through drug sales.

Two suspects facing state charges are in Catoosa County Jail - Gerald Pritchet and Jeanette Davis. Names have not been released on two other suspects facing federal charges, pending results of the ongoing operation.

The bulk of the arrests are focused on individuals distributing and trafficking prescription pills such as Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Xanax, Cmdr. Black said, and some teen deaths in Walker and Catoosa in the last year have been linked to mixing medications.

Cmdr. Black said county sheriff's offices in Catoosa, Walker and Dade, DEA, Georgia probation officials and Georgia State Patrol assisted in the six-month-long operation and more arrests are expected.
