A homeless man was arrested Sunday after police say he showed pornography to a 4-year-old boy during an evening church service at First Centenary United Methodist Church on McCallie Ave.
The boy was sitting next to Mark Wilson, 40, when the man leaned in to show the boy pornographic videos on his cell phone, the boy's mother told police. The woman immediately grabbed her son and left, and then the family alerted an usher.
The usher walked up behind Wilson and also witnessed the pornography, according to the affidavit. The usher kicked Wilson out of church and after consulting with their pastor, the group called police.
Police later found Wilson under the overpass where he sleeps. He had two cell phones, and Wilson told police he uses one cell phone exclusively for pornography.
Wilson has been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and is being held in the Hamilton County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
