The 1900 block of Jenkins Road will be closed beginning Wednesday, Oct. 29 for replacement of a storm drain, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Department of Transportation.
The project is scheduled for three days, and hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, the release stated.
Detours will be posted using Goodwin Road, Gunbarrel Road and Igou Gap Road. Access to Long Drive will be maintained using southbound Jenkins Road, between Goodwin Road and Long Drive. Property access for Jenkins Road between Long Drive and Igou Gap Road will be maintained through northbound Jenkins Road from Igou Gap Road.
