A jury this morning convicted Ronald Cosper of felony murder and attempt to commit especially aggravated robbery in the 2012 killing of Steve Mosley.

Cosper faces an automatic sentence of life in prison on the felony murder count.

As Judge Barry Steelman pronounced his sentence Monday, two family members ran screaming from the courtroom, despite warnings from the judge before the verdict was announced.

They were held in contempt of court. Cosper will be sentenced on the remaining charge June 8.
