A multiple-vehicle wreck on the Chickamauga Dam has slowed traffic to a crawl on Highway 153.
The crash happened just before 5 p.m. on the northbound side of Highway 153, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Traffic on both sides of the highway is affected by the wreck. Northbound traffic is being diverted to another route, and one lane on the southbound side has been closed.
Dispatchers could not immediately say whether anyone was injured in the wreck.
The Chattanooga fire department and Hamilton County EMS are on scene.
