Although the Volunteer State doesn't offer the traditional temptations that make Americans want to relocate - namely beaches and major metropolitan areas - Tennessee nonetheless ranks as the 10th most popular state Americans want to move to, according to the latest Harris Poll that annually ranks states' desirability.

This was Tennessee's first time back in the top 10 since 2007, when it was ranked No. 9. Since 1997, when Tennessee was ranked No. 5, the state has been in the top 15 every year except 2003. The Volunteer State was ranked No. 12 in both 2013 and 2014.

As usual, palm trees and sunny beaches proved to be the strongest draw: The top three states in 2015 were, in order, Florida, California and Hawaii. Those have been the top three states for 15 years in row, though this is Florida's first time in the top spot since 2001.
