The theft occurred on Fox Glove Drive in the Meadow Stream subdivision in North Ooltewah between 1:00 and 3:00 a.m. on Monday, December 21. Later that morning, the suspects used the card to spend over $400 at the Wal-Mart on Little Debbie Parkway.

The vehicle, a late 80's early 90's silver Ford Aerostar with a full luggage rack, was also seen at the sight of a burglary on Scarlett Oak Lane on Monday, December 28. People have also reported seeing the suspicious van around the neighborhood near the old James County Courthouse.
