Brandy Lea WatsonA 20-year-old mom in Northeast Alabama has been arrested for torturing her baby, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.
Brandy Lea Watson of Ider, Al., was issued a grand jury indictment after an extensive investigation, Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in the release.
The indictment stemmed from an incident involving her 4-month-old child which had a femoral fracture, the release said. The child was taken to Children' Hospital in Birmingham.
