A body was found on the North Shore this morning, Chattanooga police say.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Cherokee Blvd. around 12:30 a.m.
The body was taken to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's Office for evaluation and identification, according to a news release. The cause of death is pending the results of the autopsy.
Police say foul play is not suspected at this time.
