The Tivoli Theatre Foundation has decided to hand over the management of the historic Tivoli Theatre and the Soldier and Sailor Memorial Auditorium to A.C. Entertainment.

A national search led the Tivoli Theatre Foundation's Board to choose A.C. Entertainment, which is no stranger to the music scene in Tennessee, and organizes Bonnaroo and manages several theaters in Nashville and Knoxville.

The decision to find new management for the venues follows Mayor Andy Berke's February announcement about the city's plan to fold these two venues into one nonprofit organization -- the Tivoli Theatre Foundation. A new board was formed and tasked by the mayor to revive the venues by bringing in more shows to the spaces and investing in capital improvements.
