The driver of a logging truck involved in a fatal crash in Bradley County on Wednesday was driving without a commercial driver's license (CDL).

According to Dalya Qualls, deputy communications director for the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, Cody Judd didn't have the required Class B CDL for the type of truck he was driving.

The log truck Judd was driving collided with a Toyota Camry on North Lee Highway at Tasso Lane, killing 17-year-old Ashlyn Lamberth.

Qualls said the incident was still under investigation, and no charges had been filed as of Thursday.
