Jackson County, Ala., Sheriff's deputies arrested one man in connection with a marijuana seizure Thursday.

Charles Edwin Harrigan, 61, is being charged with trafficking in cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were acting on a tip when they seized 49 plants, marijuana packaged for resale and drug paraphernalia from Harrigan's residence on County Road 8 in Woodville, Ala., which is the Pleasant Grove community.

Authorities found plants growing and drying outside his residence and some were inside his residence, too.

Harrigan's bond was set at $20,500.
