A Murphy, N.C., man is being held on a $1 million secured bond in connection with charges of kidnapping and sexual assault in an incident involving two juvenile girls in October 2015.

Devin Lloyd Boxer, 25, was charged on an indictment issued Monday charging him with two counts of first-degree kidnapping, three counts of statutory sex offense by a person six years older than the victim, three counts of second-degree forcible sex offense, contributing the delinquency of a minor and a count of taking indecent liberties with a child, Cherokee County Sheriff Derrick Palmer said in a statement on the arrest.

Boxer, of 107 Oleo Ranch Lane in Murphy, was arrested at his home. He faces a date in Superior Court on July 11, according to officials.

Investigator Roger Williams said late on Tuesday that details about the case were limited due to the age of the alleged victims and the nature of the allegations.
