UPDATE: Amber Alert cancelled, 12-year-old Cookeville boy found safe

Update: Steven Merriman has been safely recovered this morning after an Amber Alert was issued for Merriman late Wednesday night.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued an Amber Alert for a missing 12-year-old boy from Cookeville.

The suspect is 32-year-old noncustodial mother Shelia Randolph. Randolph is pictured alongside the article and is an approximately 5-foot-3, 190 pound white woman with brown hair and brown eyes.

Her vehicle is a 1995 white Chevrolet Blazer with the license plate number N71-32B.

She is believed to be with a 39-year-old while male. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and is about 6-feet tall and 200 pounds, according to a press release from the AMBER Alert System.

The missing child is 12-year-old Steven Merriman, pictured above. He is an approximately 5-foot-2, 100 pound white boy with brown hair and blue eyes.
