Sequatchie County Sheriff Ronnie Hitchcock said there has been no determination on foul play in the death of a 34-year-old Sequatchie County woman whose body was found Saturday.
Brittany Louise Weathers, of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., is identified as the woman whose body was found at a home on Higdon Road, about five miles south of Dunlap.
Deputies and ambulance personnel found Weathers' lying unresponsive on the floor of the home, according to Sheriff Ronnie HItchcock. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hitchcock said Monday that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's crime lab is performing an autopsy to determine whether Weathers death happened at the hands of someone else.
Hitchcock said preliminary results from the autopsy might be available later this week.
