A gun-wielding man ordered cash instead of breakfast from the Waffle House at 4343 Highway 58 on Sunday morning, and police are trying to track him down.
Surveillance footage shows a suspect described as an 18-25-year-old black or mixed race man with freckled cheeks pointing a gun across the restaurant's counter.
Police were called to the Waffle House at 6 a.m. and were told that the suspect entered the diner and pointed a black, semi-automatic handgun at the cashier and demanded money.
The cashier gave the suspect cash, according to a police news release.
The suspect, described as being 6-feet-tall with a medium build, was last seen running across Highway 58.
He was wearing a black jacket with fur-like trim around the hood, khaki trousers, gray and black gloves and black shoes, according to police.
