Brothers sought in assault, carjacking cases in Hamilton, area counties

The public is being asked to help find a pair of brothers suspected in assault and carjacking cases in Hamilton, Sequatchie and Bledsoe counties.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is looking for Charles Larry Ashley, 34, and John Travis Ashley, 30. Both are wanted on charges of aggravated assault and carjacking, a sheriff's office news release states.

The release said the brothers are known to run together and have been seen in the areas of Mowbray Mountain in Hamilton County, as well as in Sequatchie and Bledsoe counties.

The sheriff's office has placed the Ashley brothers on their Top 12 Most Wanted list, www.hcsheriff.gov/most_wanted/most_wanted.php

Anyone with information on them is asked to call 423-209-7150 or 423-622-0022 and to ask for the fugitive on-call detective.
