A "fully decomposed" body was found today inside a storage unit on Red Bud Road in Calhoun, Ga., a news release from police states.
Officers were sent to Mini Stor All at 1165 Red Bud Road at about 9:30 this morning after a report of a body being found, according to the release from the Calhoun Police Department.
Chief Garry Moss said the human skeletal remains appeared to have been inside the unit for some time.
"The remains appeared to be [those] of the lessee of the unit, who we believe may have been living inside the facility," Lt. Tony Pyle said. "We do not suspect foul play in this death at this time."
The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of the family.
