Hamilton County deputies arrest 57-year-old man, recover four stolen vehicles

While you were gearing up for your Halloween weekend, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) was arresting a man after finding several stolen vehicles in his driveway.

HCSO deputies received a report indicating a stolen vehicle was observed in the driveway of a residence owned by 57-year-old Charles H. Bowman on Johnson Road in Birchwood, Tenn.

Upon arrival, deputies located the vehicle and confirmed that it was stolen. Deputies also observed several other vehicles parked in the driveway and behind the residence which were suspected as being stolen.

During the ensuing investigation, deputies were able to identify and recover four stolen vehicles and one ATV from the residence. The vehicles were found to have been stolen from Bradley County, McMinn County, Rhea County and from the city limits of Chattanooga.

The stolen vehicles were towed from the residence and the appropriate law enforcement agency was notified of the recovery.

Bowman was arrested and charged with four counts of theft of property.
