A man wanted on an armed robbery charge turned himself in at the Catoosa County Jail.

According to a Fort Oglethorpe police incident report, 22-year-old Michael Anthony King and 21-year-old Peyton Garren Gunter showed up at a man's duplex on the 900 block of Cross Street around 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 27. King and Gunter brought a semi-automatic handgun, according to the report, and left with two cellphones and $600 in cash. The report does not name the victim.

A neighbor told investigators that the two men drove away in a black Infiniti.

Fort Oglethorpe police posted King's and Gunter's pictures on the department's Facebook page on Dec. 28. King's attorney, McCracken Poston, said he brought King to the Catoosa County Jail on Monday night. He remained in jail as of Tuesday evening.

Gunter, meanwhile, had not turned himself in yet. According to Catoosa County's clerk of court website, he was also arrested and convicted of a 2014 criminal trespass charge. He has an alias, according to an arrest warrant affidavit filed last week: Cody Champagne.

Those with information can call 706-866-2512. According to Fort Oglethorpe police's Facebook page, Gunter is considered armed and dangerous.
