A pedestrian was struck while crossing Hixson Pike near Highway 153 on Sunday evening, Chattanooga police said.
The pedestrian injuries are considered non-life threatening, police spokesperson Victor Miller said.
An investigation was ongoing Sunday night, and no information on the victim was immediately available. Miller said there was no early indication that the driver would be charged.
