Tonight the Hamilton County school board is meeting for a strategic planning session.
The Tennessee School Board Association is moderating tonight's meeting, and the board is discussing its role and responsibilities, along with those of the superintendent.
The board is also expected to discuss some of the district's data and the superintendent search.
The meetings will continue tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.
