A Cookeville, Tenn., man has been charged with murder in the death of a woman whose body was discovered on a logging road in December, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in a news release.

The body of Donna Roam, 41, of Sparta, was found Dec. 18 on a logging road off Deck Road in western Cumberland County, the release stated.

On Friday, the Jackson County grand jury indicted Bobby Dale Haney, 57, in Roam's death.
Haney was arrested during a traffic stop by Jackson County deputies on Saturday and is being held without bond in the Jackson County Jail.
The TBI release said its agents worked with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, the Cookeville Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff's Office on the case.
