Tonight, the Hamilton County Board of Education meets to discuss a variety of topics that have the community talking, including Superintendent Bryan Johnson's new five-year strategic plan, a new three-year plan for special education in the district and the 9 board members' evaluations of Johnson's performance this year.

Noticeably absent from tonight's agenda, but supposedly taking place during a policy committee meeting at 4:00 p.m. is a discussion of recommended equity consultants that were promised at last month's board meeting.

The board meets at 4 p.m. for a policy committee meeting and at 5:30 p.m. for it's regularly scheduled board meeting. Both meetings are open to the public.
