A 17-year-old male was shot late Sunday night at the Northgate Crossings Apartment complex in Hixson, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.
Police arrived to 1664 Greendale Way shortly after 11 p.m. and found the victim suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, a news release states.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and his condition is not known at this time.
People in the area reported hearing an argument prior to the gunshot, but the suspect allegedly fled prior to police arriving, the release states.
