Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.
Shortly before 11:22 p.m., a 27-year-old man driving a Chrysler 200 S was traveling southbound on South Moore Road when his vehicle crossed over into the northbound lane and collided with a Kia Soul driving north on South Moore Road at the time.
Police say the Chrysler struck the Kia Soul, driven by a 49-year-old woman, at 100 South Moore Road and both drivers of the vehicles were taken to a local hospital where they later died.
A 23-year-old man who was a passenger in the Chrysler was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police have not released the identities of the victims at this time.
