Man injured in early Saturday morning shooting

A man is receiving treatment for life-threatening injuries after he was shot at around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

The person who drove the 28-year-old victim to the hospital told police he was shot while getting into a personal vehicle.

Police have found a possible crime scene in the area of the 4300 block of Dorris Street, the release states.
