East Ridge Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times on South Seminole Drive Monday night, according to a news release from the East Ridge Police Department.
Just before midnight, officers arrived at South Seminole Drive to find 25-year-old Antonio Smith in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, the release states.
Police attempted to resuscitate Smith until emergency services arrived on the scene. Smith was transported to Erlanger Hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing, and East Ridge Police ask anyone with information about it to contact Detective Robert Wade at 423-867-7516.
