A former DeKalb County, Alabama, attorney was arrested Tuesday on theft charges, according to a press release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.
Teresa Darwin Phillips, 40, of Sylvania, Alabama, was arrested Tuesday on two counts of first-degree theft of property. Phillips was taken into custody at an unspecified location and booked at the DeKalb County Detention Center in Fort Payne.
Phillips is free on a $30,000 bond, records show. No court date was listed.
